Acorn Lodge has beautiful interiors throughout. On the ground floor, you’ll find a welcoming living room with comfy sofas, a flat screen TV and a log burner. There is also a separate dining room with a large dining table and matching chairs. Perfect for socialising, both rooms provide a comfortable and stylish place to relax.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering stays with an oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, slow cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Even a Yorkshire Pudding tin. Ideal for families or groups of friends, you can easily prepare meals and enjoy them together at Acorn Lodge.
Upstairs on the first floor, you’ll find four bedrooms – three with en-suites and one with a separate private bathroom. The rooms include 2 superking/twin double with whirlpool bath, and a single with separate house bathroom.
Head to the second floor and there are a further three en-suite bedrooms. These rooms are a superking/twin, double (with whirlpoo bath) and a small twin.
Neighbourhood
Harrogate is one of Yorkshire’s most stylish locations. The Victorian town centre boasts striking historic buildings and lush gardens. Settled in the centre, Acorn Lodge is in the perfect location to explore the town and the surrounding areas.
Harrogate’s Turkish Baths have been perfecting the art of relaxation since 1897 so if you’re looking to unwind, head straight there. Cosy bistros, cafes, restaurants and bars line the cobbled streets. You’ll find the famous Betty’s tea room 10 minutes away on foot too.
There’s something for everyone when it comes to shopping. Whether you’re looking for antiques, arts and crafts, high-end fashion or jewellery – you’ll find plenty of unique stores and boutiques to discover.
Step outside of the centre and you’ll find the Yorkshire Dales on your doorstep. From the valleys to the peaks, there’s lots of varied landscapes to explore. Enjoy long walks, rock climbing, mountain biking, abseiling and much more!
Getting Around
Local buses run throughout Harrogate with routes covering popular towns and idyllic villages. Hop on the No. 24 bus route which travels to Pateley Bridge, and enjoy the beauty of the local area as it journeys along the River Nidd through the rolling hills and moorland. Knaresborough and Ripon each have several routes so you can easily travel to those areas via bus.
Harrogate Train Station is a 10-minute walk away from the property. Popular cities and towns such as York, Leeds and Knaresborough can easily be reached via rail.
The nearest airport is Leeds Bradford International Airport, 13 miles from Acorn Lodge.
Guests have access to the full house. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
There is free parking for up to four vehicles at the property.

All Bookings (“Bookings”) are personal and may not be sold, assigned or otherwise transferred. Bookings must be guaranteed by a major credit or debit card.
A minimum stay may apply at weekends and busy periods.
Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 6 weeks for group bookings, after which the full amount is payable. There will be an admin charge of £40 for group booking cancellations or modifications. If you have booked via a third party different policies may apply.
If, for any reason, a Booking has to be cancelled a cancellation number will be given. This must be retained or the full contract price will be charged for non-arrivals.
Due to the outbreak of Corona Virus we will be as flexible as possible and offer a different equivalent date or credit for a future stay.
Guests are recommended to have insurance to cover cancellation, curtailment and loss of baggage, personal effects and money.
Children can be accommodated when booking Acorn Lodge for sole use as a group. Extra beds/cot can be provided at a small charge.
