With the Yorkshire Dales on our doorstep adventure activities such as cycling, mountain biking, climbing, abseiling or a bracing walk across the fells are all easily accessible. For the less adventurous there is Llama Trekking, a stroll around a lovely market town, riverside and reservoir walks.

We have the flexibility to book Room Only, so if you fancy a lie in we can recommend lots of places for a delicious breakfast or brunch. Or stay with us for breakfast and take your pick of our comprehensive breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, low fat Greek Yoghurt, juices, cereals including gluten free. Follow up with a Full Yorkshire Breakfast (just ask if you want Black Pudding!) and we cater for vegetarian, vegan and other diets. Our eggs come from Margaret’s hen’s in Boroughbridge and guest often comment on her lovely yolks!

We have a thriving independent retail sector in Harrogate with a diverse range of shops.
Wander out of the town centre to Cold Bath Road and the Kings Quarter where you will find little delis, boutiques and unique gift shops.
For antique hunters and art lovers you will love the cobbles streets of the Montpellier Quarter and West Park area.
There are lots of little specialist interior shops for something a little bit different to take home.
The shopping extends to little market towns with galleries tucked away in side streets and courtyards just waiting to be discovered. Check out Knaresborough, Ripon, Otley, Masham and Pateley Bridge.
